ADDITIONAL ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Each year, we offer a robust career workshop series for MSAs to prepare them for their job search. We are continually in need of corporate partners to assist with this series in a variety of ways including guest speakers, panelists, and subject matter experts on resumes, cover letters, technical interviewing, professionalism, and other professional development topics.
- Tech Prep – Technical Interview Prep Sessions: Each Tech Prep is approximately 2 hours in length and is led by a corporate partner. Sponsors provide and lead students through a data science/analytics case and provide guidance and feedback on the solution. Sponsoring a tech prep is an excellent opportunity to observe students' analytical skills in real-time.
- Analytics Career Exploration Panels: Career panels with data science and analytics professionals from various industries to help students learn about the various career options available upon completing their MSA degree. We’re seeking panelists who are passionate about sharing their personal stories and career advice with our students
- Women’s Networking Event Keynote: Each Fall, we host a women’s networking event where our female students will have the opportunity to talk candidly with female analytics leaders on how to navigate the professional work world. For this event, we’re seeking Data Science and Analytics leaders to serve as keynote speakers. The ideal speakers are women who are great storytellers, and who are open to sharing their career journey and giving advice for navigating the workplace with the women in our program.
- Additional Opportunities: Would your team be open to reviewing resumes or cover letters? Would they be interested in sharing tips on how to be an effective data-driven storyteller? Would you like to host office hours, coffee chat, or an info session?
