MSA Project Week
Sponsor our annual MSA Project Week and observe first-hand how our students approach problem-solving and get a head-start on identifying top talent for your company. The goal of Project Week is to allow MSAs to solve a real-world data science/analytics problem from start to finish including data wrangling, modeling & analysis, and coming up with actionable insights/business recommendations. Corporate sponsors have a unique opportunity to interact with our students and highlight their organization as a potential employer.
MSA Project Week is a mentored datathon held annually over the first two weeks of January. Project Week gives students the chance to put their academic analytics knowledge from fall classes to practice and to gain project experience for their resume and spring interviews. Students form teams of 3 or 4 members to compete against one another on a data science problem provided by the sponsor.
MSA Project Week Sponsor Commitment:
- Corporate sponsor provides data science problem and data set
- $5,000 for student prizes
- Mentors for 2-3 office hours
- Judges for final presentations
